The day starts off partly cloudy, but clouds start to move in ahead of a cold front. Late afternoon looks like it will be mostly cloudy with a slight 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms.
HIGH: middle 80s WIND: S 10-15 MPH. CHANCE OF RAIN: 20%
FRIDAY
The cold front moves into the area during the morning and brings with it heavy rain and thunderstorms at times. Rain totals up to 1 inch are possible with these storms. There may be a slight chance for small hail with these storms but do not believe there is enough instability for severe weather. Remember if thunder roars, go indoors. Please stay weather aware.

The cold front stalls out near the area and that will keep skies cloudy and rain and thunderstorms chances elevated.
