Dry and hot weather is still expected for IndyCar's visit to Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California. Not much change was needed from my original forecast. There will be a high pressure ridge near Nevada and a low pressure trough off the coast, which will help supply some mid and upper level moisture to Southern California over the weekend. However, it doesn't appear to be enough to produce any rain at the track on Saturday, and will only bring some high clouds.
