Wednesday Forecast Update for SCCA Majors Tour at VIR

A stalled front that is draped across the Carolinas will have weak waves of low pressure riding along it. Those waves will combine with a strong wedge of high pressure for the next couple of days, keeping conditions a little damp and cool. By the end of the week, warmer air will return before another cold front crosses over the area during the weekend.

FRIDAY
Patchy fog starts off the day before 8AM then the fog gives way to mostly cloudy skies. There is a slight chance of a shower or an isolated thunderstorm throughout the day.
HIGH: Lower 70s     WIND: Calm     CHANCE OF RAIN: 20%

SATURDAY
Partly cloudy conditions throughout the day and a little warmer. There is a chance of showers and a thunderstorm throughout the day.
HIGH: Middle 70s     WIND: SW at 0-5 MPH     CHANCE OF RAIN: 20%

SUNDAY
Unfortunately, right now this is looking to be the wettest day of the weekend, but I do not believe its going to be a washout. It will be mostly cloudy throughout the day, with rain and thunderstorm chances throughout the day. You will notice it will be cooler than the previous days.
HIGH: Upper 60s     WIND: SE at 0-5 MPH     CHANCE OF RAIN: 50%
