By Doug Schneider There will be beautiful weather for Indy 500 practice on Wednesday and Thursday. After a chilly start on Wednesday morning with lows in the lower 40s, plenty of sunshine through the day will bring high temperatures into the upper 60s. Thursday looks nice as well, with highs in the lower 70s, but clouds will be increasing through the afternoon. A warm front will be lifting northward across the region Thursday night and Friday morning, and showers are likely as the front moves through. Warmer temperatures will follow the front as winds shift to the south, with highs Friday in the upper 70s. It will feel noticeably more humid starting on Friday and continuing through the weekend. For Saturday and Sunday, I expect scattered showers and thunderstorms to develop each afternoon. It's about a 50% chance that one of the showers will affect the Speedway. Highs both days will be in the lower 80s.
