The latest models have shown a pattern that is a little faster than earlier in the week. An upper level trough will be crossing Ohio on Thursday night, and will be southeast of the area by Friday. This will usher in a northerly flow with drier air that will keep dry conditions all day. There will be some scattered clouds, and with a northerly wind at 10 to 15 mph, temperatures will be mainly in the 60s during the day, peaking around 70.
High pressure will be drifting east across the region through the weekend, providing mostly sunny skies and gradually warming temperatures. Highs on Saturday will be in the mid 70s, then lower 80s on Sunday. Overall, a great weekend to enjoy some great racing.
