The image to the right is the latest NAM run valid at 11AM EDT on Friday, and it is showing that rain will be moving into the area around that time. I think the rain will be off and on throughout the day after 11AM, and could expect rainfall amounts from 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch. Rain tires and umbrellas needed for sure. Highs will only reach the lower 60s.
Saturday, the thinking right now is that skies will remain mostly cloudy, but temperatures will be warmer. As of now there is not a chance of rain, but one of the models still has rain lingering around the area. I'm sticking with the drier forecast and highs will reach the lower 70s.
Sunday looks like its still going to be the best day of the weekend. Partly cloudy skies with no chance of rain. Temperatures will be a little warmer as well, with highs topping out in the middle 70s. A day that you will probably need the sunglasses, hats and sunscreen.
Once again, if there is any change to the forecast, I'll have it up on the blog as soon as possible. If you would like to keep up with the radar, please feel free to use ours.
