Friday will be a mostly cloudy day at the track as there will be an approaching system heading to the Deep South. The good news is that any shower activity will hold off until well after on-track activities have completed for the day. Temperatures will start off cool around 50 degrees and only warm up to around 66 degrees for the afternoon high. Winds will be out of the northeast averaging 0-5 mph.
That system will move into the area during the late night hours on Friday and will begin to move out during the morning hours on Saturday. Skies will be mostly cloudy and a passing shower or two will be possible during the morning. Once we get close to the midday hour, any shower activity will be well east of the track, and we'll be dry and cool for the remainder of the day. Morning temperatures will start off around 51 degrees and will top out around 66 degrees. Rain chances are only at 30% and winds will be out of the north to northwest at 1-6 MPH.
The best news is that Sunday is now trending dry with slightly warmer temperatures. There will be a mix of sun and clouds with temperatures starting off around 50 degrees at 7:30 am and reaching 70 degrees for the afternoon high. Winds will not be a factor as well as they will be out of the northwest to north at 2-8 mph. Might be a good idea to pack the sunscreen just in case.
