Even though rain chances have gone down a little, a wet track may lead to rain tires for Saturday morning.

Looks like the rain chances will be a little less on Saturday as the trough with an associated surface front will move through just a little quicker on Saturday morning, and any shower activity should be out of the area by 11:00 local time. From 8AM until 11AM, rain chances will be only 30%, and any rain that falls will be less than 0.05 inches. Skies will become mostly sunny by the late afternoon hours, and highs will make it up into the upper 60s. Winds will be shifting from the south to out of the southwest by late morning at 5-15 MPH, with gusts up to 20 MPH possible.
Flat, upper ridging moves into the Long Beach area for Sunday, and this will bring with it mostly sunny skies and slightly warmer temperatures. The breezy conditions will be back as well, as winds will mainly be out of the southwest at 5-15 MPH. With mostly sunny skies means no rain for the area, and afternoon highs will be up into the upper 60s and maybe hitting 70 degrees.
