This weekend is shaping up for some volatile weather with chances for rain Saturday afternoon and slight chances Sunday. Higher pressures are expected to lay over the site for the weekend, but afternoon convection mixed with converging surface winds could lead to some pop-up storms in the late afternoon/evening. Wind speeds will be low and the direction will vary as the surrounding mountains in the area affect the direction.
Temps will be moderate in the afternoon leaving track temps higher than ideal but still quite manageable, especially after the US Grand Prix's track temps. I will provide an update on the rain chances as we get closer to the weekend. A metric graphic is pasted below...
