The pattern setting up later this week across the Southeast will feature a large high pressure ridge centered over Georgia, which will be nearly stationary through the weekend. There will be some systems that affect the Plains, and residual cloud cover from those systems will give partly sunny skies on Friday and Saturday. But the ridge will act to block and weaken any precipitation before it reaches Alabama. Temperatures will be warm each day, with highs in the lower to mid 80s.
I'll have another forecast update posted later in the week, hopefully without much change from this forecast.
