By Scott Martin I promise, you are not listening to a broken record, but forecast may almost look exactly the same as yesterday's update. Once again, there is really no change for the forecast for the Indycar Series Firestone 600 at Texas Motor Speedway. Hot and dry conditions will rule the weather headlines this weekend, with highs reaching the lower 90s and heat indices in the 93-96º range. Qualifying on Friday evening should be in the upper 80s with only a light southeasterly wind at 5-10 MPH. Race conditions on Saturday will start off in the middle 80s at the drop of the green flag, and falling into the upper 70s by the checkered flag. Good news there is no chance of rain. Please stay hydrated and find ways to stay cool if you are attending the race.
