The chance of rain continues to drop for today. I expect a mix of sun and clouds through the day, with the possibility of a shower late in the day. A thunderstorm can't be ruled out, but the chance of lightning appears low. The WeatherTech qualifying session could be affected. Rain will be increasing Friday evening and continue overnight, which won't be great for campers but at least i won't affect any racing. Rain amounts through Friday night could be between a half inch and one inch.
Showers are likely to continue into early Saturday morning. I expect shower coverage to decrease during the late morning to early afternoon hours. It is possible that some showers in the area during the WeatherTech race, but the chance will be decreasing, from 70% in the morning to maybe 30-40% in the afternoon. Around a tenth to a quarter inch of rain is possible on Saturday.
Sunday continues to look dry. With a mix of sun and clouds, highs will reach the mid 70s. Should be a very nice day for the Michelin Pilot Challenge race.
