Well you will notice a big change in the forecast for this weekend at Pocono Raceway for the Verizon Indycar Series ABC Supply 500. The rain that hit the area yesterday moved out faster that what I had thought, so rain chances are completely out of the forecast for today.
FRIDAY
Other than some patchy fog that may hang around during the morning hours, expect sunny skies and nice temperatures. Highs will top out in the mid 70s. Winds will be from the northwest at 5-10 MPH. Chance of rain is 0%.
SATURDAY
Another great day in store for Pocono Raceway. Mostly sunny skies and nice temperatures. Highs expected to reach the lower 70s. Winds will be from the northeast at 5-10 MPH. Chance of rain is 0%.
SUNDAY
Clouds will be on the increase as a low pressure system that had pushed out to sea will start to move back toward the area. Fortunately, it will not make it close enough to make an increase in rain chances. Expect partly to mostly cloudy skies with nice temperatures. Highs will reach the lower to middle 70s. Winds will start off out of the northeast at 2-5 MPH, but will become very light to calm during the late morning. Chance of rain is 0%.
I am still going to keep my eye on Sunday's forecast. Model are having rain close to the area during the afternoon hours, but not close enough.
