I will continue to have updates throughout the rest of the week. Be sure to follow our main Twitter feed @RacecastWx as we will be using it as our one-stop place for forecasts and updates on Twitter. We'll continue to have our personal accounts as well, but we'll only use those to retweet our forecast and for personal use. As always, our forecasts will still be featured on our Facebook page along with our Instagram account. Thank you and have a great Wednesday.
By Scott Martin - @RaceWx4You The main change that I made to the forecast graphic was to change out the background image, but as for the weather, only minor adjustments were made to the temperatures and the wind speeds. The forecast continues to be a dry but very warm one, as afternoon highs in Austin will be about 10 degrees above normal. The breeze out there will be nice, but don't expect it to cool you down very much as it will mainly be out of the south-southwest all weekend long. Afternoon highs each day will be in the mid-80s, while temperatures will be in the upper 60s at 7AM for each day. While the rest of the nation is getting ready for the holiday season, it still feels like early summertime in Texas.
