A cold front is still expected to approach the area from the northwest on Sunday. I think most of the shower activity with the front will remain to the west while the race is taking place, but I can't entirely rule out a shower reaching the track. I've left the Impact for the day at None because I think that even if there is a shower (which is only a 20% chance of happening at all), it will be very light and won't influence the race too much. Overall, it will be a nice weekend to get out and watch some awesome race cars.
By Doug Schneider - @Race4caster No big changes to the forecast for COTA and the 24H Series races this weekend as the expected weather pattern is still on track. Today has had a good amount of cloud cover that has kept temperatures in the lower to mid 60s. Tomorrow looks like it will be very similar, but it should get a little warmer as winds will be from the southeast instead of the east-northeast. A few breaks in the cloud may allow a little sunshine now and then, but most of the day will be cloudy.
