Here is the forecast for the Trans Am Series action at New Jersey Motorsports Park.
Thursday and Friday are going to be mostly sunny and hot. Highs for both days will top out in the lower 90s, with the heat index reaching the 90-95º range both days. Winds will be out of the southwest at 5-10 MPH on Thursday, and out of the south-southeast at 5-10 MPH on Friday. Chance of rain for both days is 0%. Please remember to stay hydrated, use sunscreen and find some shade to try to stay cool.
Saturday will start off partly cloudy, but there is a slight chance of rain or a thunderstorm throughout the remainder of the day, after 10AM. Highs should top out in the upper 80s to near 90. Winds will be out of the west-southwest at 5-10 MPH. Chance of rain is 30%.
