Sorry for the first look forecast for this week's Trans Am Series action at Lime Rock Park being late. Had a big doctor's appointment on Monday, and discovered when I got home that our basement was flooded due to a malfunction of our AC unit. Still waiting on final repairs to be done, but that won't stop me from posting the forecast. Fortunately not much to say about this one except AWESOME!
Thursday and Friday will start off mostly sunny and a little chilly, but temperature should climb nicely during the morning and early afternoon hours. Highs on both days will be in the upper 60s to 70 degrees. Winds will be out of the west at 5-10 MPH on Thursday, and 5-15 MPH on Friday. No chance of rain at all for both days.
Sunday will almost be an exact duplicate of both days, but skies will be even more clear and temperatures will be a little cooler. Highs will reach the middle 60s, with winds out of the northwest at 5-10 MPH. Chance of rain is a big fat goose egg; 0%.
I did have a little issue with trying to get radar for Lime Rock to load up earlier today, but I'll work on that some more and put it up when fixed. I don't think it will be an issue if its not fixed because it's going to be a fantastic race weekend. Have a great day and let's get racing!
