By Doug Schneider Round 2 of the Trans Am Championship takes place this coming weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Overall, the weather looks like it will be pretty good for the event. High pressure off the east coast of Florida will provide dry and mild conditions for Thursday and Friday. The high pressure area will begin to give way a little over the weekend, which may allow for some afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms to develop. I think the chances are better that the races will stay dry than see any rain, but I decided to have some low rain chances Saturday and Sunday as I can't entirely rule out some showers and storms at this point. Sunday appears to have a slightly higher chance of rain than Saturday.
