A low pressure system is expected to be over Arizona and New Mexico for the latter half of the week. This will provide a dry and warm northeast wind, and breezy conditions on Thursday. Winds will gradually diminish and turn toward the west through the weekend. This will result in an onshore flow, and temperatures will become a little cooler each day, with highs around 70 by Sunday. There's no chance of rain, and in fact, we may get through the whole event without seeing any clouds. Fog can sometimes be a problem at Long Beach, but it's too far out at this point to mention it in the forecast.
