An approaching cold front with a southwesterly flow will keep thing interesting to say the least on Friday and Saturday at Virginia International Raceway for the SCCA Majors Tour Spring Sprints. As the event days grow closer, I can better get a handle on the forecast. As of now, here is what I have for you.
FRIDAY
Day starts off mostly cloudy with a decent chance of rain in the morning, with thunderstorm chances increasing during the late afternoon hours.
HIGH: Lower 70s WIND: NNE at 0-5 MPH CHANCE OF RAIN: 50%
SATURDAY
Clouds and a slight chance for showers and thunderstorms hang around again throughout the day. The good news is that rain starts to move out after 10PM.
HIGH: Middle 70s WIND: WSW at 0-5 MPH CHANCE OF RAIN: 30%
SUNDAY
I really do believe, as of now, that this will be a dry day. Skies should be partly cloudy through the daytime hours, with a few more clouds rolling in after 6PM.
HIGH: Lower 70s WIND: NE at 0-5 MPH CHANCE OF RAIN: 0%
