By Doug Schneider Sunny and warm weather is expected for the opening days of the Angie's List Grand Prix of Indianapolis. A high pressure ridge will be located east of the area, and this will bring a southerly flow of warm air, with high temperatures in the lower 80s on Thursday and Friday. A cold front will slowly approach from the northwest on Saturday, and this will bring a chance of some afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Right now, I have the rain chance at only 30%, so it doesn't look like race day will be a washout. Right now, the best rain chances with the front will hold off until Saturday night and Sunday. If the forecast models start to trend faster, then the rain chances may need to be raised with later forecast updates.
