After a very exciting season opener in Bahrain, we are heading to Imola, Italy this weekend for the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix. The initial forecast is showing light winds out of the southeast to northeast with cloudier conditions and moisture setting in as we get closer to race day. Sunday presents a slight chance of rain as of now with the highest percentages coming in the very early hours of the morning. Amounts are expected to be very low if any at all, but I will continue to update you all as conditions change.
Whether we see any rain on Sunday or not, it will be a cloudy weekend nonetheless which is a nice change of pace from the scorching temperatures these teams were enduring in Bahrain. Temperatures in Imola are a bit chilly with the mornings starting in the low 40's and only getting up to the low 50's in the afternoon due to the cloud coverage that is expected.
Overall, we should be seeing benign weather out on the track for this weekend. As always, I will be watching closely for changing conditions and will update the forecast accordingly. Stay tuned for these updates!
