No real surprise in conditions for the Gulf 12 Hours this week. Temperatures will be in the mid-to-upper 20s °C/upper 70s °F with little fluctuation overnight. Winds are expected mainly from the Northwest through the weekend and could get fairly strong, up to 20 MPH (20-25 KPH) on Sunday; gusts could reach 30 MPH (35-40 KPH). Skies will be mostly clear through much of the weekend, though cloud cover may increase overnight Saturday into Sunday as mid-level winds shift from the West to the Northwest. Hazy conditions may be possible during the late afternoons and evenings. In addition, there is actually a slight chance for light rainfall overnight Saturday as a shortwave upper level trough tracks eastward through the region.
