Looks like the first race weekend for the Pirelli World Challenge series is lining up to be a blockbuster event. So many new teams and drivers added with the series veterans will make this an exciting year. It looks like the weather will not put a damper on the event. Lets get to the forecast.
FRIDAY
The day will start off cold and partly cloudy, with temperatures starting off in the low 30s at 8AM. Unfortunately the temperatures will not rise much as the expected daytime high will only reach the low 40s, with a NE wind averaging 5-10 MPH. You will definitely need a jacket. Skies will be partly cloudy and rain is not expected. Skies become mostly cloudy for the evening with the overnight low dropping to the lower 30s.
SATURDAY
Partly cloudy skies will greet you at 8AM, with temperatures starting off in the upper 30s with a NE wind at 0-5 MPH. There will be a slight chance of rain throughout the day, but I'm not expecting to do much at all. If it does rain it will be a small passing shower that probably won't last long at all. Daytime high should reach the lower 50s with partly to mostly cloudy skies. Winds will be from the NE at 2-5 MPH. Chance of rain is 20% as of now. Rain chances diminish for the evening hours. Skies will be mostly cloudy, but clouds will start to break up and turn partly cloudy by morning. Lows will fall to the upper 30s to near 40. Winds will shift out of the NW at 0-5 MPH.
SUNDAY
Sunday appears to be the best day of the race weekend. Skies at 8AM will start off mostly sunny and temps in the lower 40s. Expect the temperatures to warm nicely throughout the day, as highs are expected to reach the lower 60s by the late afternoon. Skies will be mostly sunny to partly cloudy, and winds will be from the NW at 0-5 MPH. Rain is not expected.
