This is a quick look at the forecast for this weekend's Kohler Grand Prix at Road America for the Verizon Indycar Series and the Pirelli World Challenge series. The good news is that temperatures will be much less than what we say for the SCCA June Sprints this past weekend, but we may have to put up with a chance of rain during the weekend. As of now, we'll have very slight chances for Friday and Sunday, with a better chance of showers and storms during the morning on Saturday. Thursday at this point looks to be high and dry.
I'll have a more in-depth look into the forecast on Tuesday evening. My schedule has been pretty full today, so I lacked the time to make the separate forecast graphics for each series.
We also need to send a big congratulations to our very own Doug Schneider and his family as they welcome their new baby girl into the world earlier this evening. Both baby and mom are doing just fine, we'll just have to keep an eye on Doug to see if he'll be fine.
