This will be a tough race to navigate if these conditions come to fruition throughout the race. Radar surveillance and wind gust preparation must be exercised for a clean drive. A metric graphic is pasted below...
By: Harris Cooley Weather will be spotty this weekend for the Dutch GP as a Low pressure system is lined up to pass through the area beginning Friday evening. Some scattered storms are possible Friday leading up to this Low, but the highest chances are for Saturday into Sunday as bands of rain will be moving through the region. Southwesterly winds will be picking up as the Low moves inland as well with gusts up to 35 mph.

A metric graphic is pasted below... By: Harris Cooley Steady wind speeds and overcast skies will be present to begin this race weekend. Rounds of storms will be moving through the region through Saturday as a Low pressure system west of the area keeps moisture high. The rain chances should dwindle going into race day with partly cloudy skies and increased wind speeds as the Low moves north. These rain showers should be fast-moving but will likely have substantial rainfall amounts to induce problems for teams this weekend. Real-time radar surveillance will be necessary to gain a leg up on opponents this weekend. A metric graphic is posted below...
By: Harris Cooley Mild temps and calm winds will be present through this weekend. Low pressure gradient is laying over the area keeping moisture around. Rain chances are high for Saturday afternoon as rain bands will be moving through the region. Sunday should present a favorable race day with low rain chances and calm winds, though temps will be a bit warmer which could impact tire degradation/strategies for the teams. By: Harris Cooley Deep low pressure systems West of Ireland are keeping windy conditions and cloudy skies to the area through the weekend. Winds wills be sustained strongly in the afternoons though rain chances are low. Temps will be cool and cloud coverage will help to keep track temps low as well. The wind will be the main factor in this one as the conditions are favorable otherwise. A metric graphic is pasted below...
By: Harris Cooley A rainy weekend is in store for the Austrian GP with cool temps as well. There is little deviation from overcast skies and calm winds through Sunday leaving this race up to lots of skill and a little bit of luck for these teams. We can expect the track to be wet for most of the driving with short breaks of occasional sunshine. I will be monitoring these conditions as they unfold and release updates as needed. Wet tyres can be the heavy favorite in this one. A metric graphic is posted below...
By: Harris Cooley A low pressure system will be slowly moving east of the region as the weekend goes on keeping a NE flow bringing moisture/cloud coverage to the track. Wind speeds will be light to moderate which will further help mix the air a bit and lead to clouds/potential storms in the afternoons through the weekend. Teams should have their radar up through the weekend if they want a competitive advantage because these conditions will be volatile. Staying ahead of the weather will be a key pillar in performing well this weekend. A metric graphic is posted below...
By: Harris Cooley Mostly quiet weather is expected for this weekend in Barcelona with partly cloudy skies and mild, consistent temps all weekend. Rain chances stay low but possible for Saturday as moisture and low pressure lingers over the region. A relaxed pressure gradient lays over the area keeping wind speeds low and moisture content high. The main threat for the weekend would be any pop-up showers affecting the track as well as increased track temps if cloud coverage does not increase. A metric graphic is pasted below...
By: Harris Cooley A relaxed pressure gradient will be laying over the area through the weekend keeping wind speeds low and southerly. Low pressure will keep moisture high as well with increased rain chances Sunday in the afternoon as the surface heats. Chances are low and showers would be light, but this track becomes a much different beast with even a light round of rain. Temps will be cool with intermittent cloud coverage as well which will keep track temps low for the weekend. An update on rain chances will come as necessary with a metric graphic posted below...
