As mentioned in the previous update, a low pressure system is expected to move over the southeast on Friday. Two strong high pressure systems are located over the Atlantic Ocean and over southeast Canada. The former high is currently bringing large amounts of moisture into the southeast and mid-Atlantic regions, and will continue to do so through the weekend. The aforementioned low over the southeast, coupled with the high over the Atlantic will bring some of this moisture into the Midwest region on Friday. At the upper levels, winds from the south will help contribute to the likelihood of precipitation. The high pressure system over Canada will bring cooler temperatures and winds with some stronger gusts from the northeast. The models seem to be in disagreement as to the timing of precipitation, however from what consensus they do have, the most likely chance is in the morning and early afternoon. I’m not very confident as to when rainfall will occur, but I am confident that rain will impede practice at some point tomorrow.
