A subtropical high pressure center is keeping control of the weather pattern over Texas, and will continue to do that throughout the weekend. Friday morning will start off close to 70 degrees, and with the amount of moisture in the air, some fog will be possible before 9 or 10AM. The fog will lift, but a good bit of cloud cover will remain throughout the day. The afternoon high will be around 84 degrees, but with the dewpoints in the lower 70s, it will feel very muggy out at the track. Skies will clear out some, becoming partly cloudy during the mid to late afternoon hours, but cloudy skies will return during the late evening and through the overnight hours.
Saturday is going to be almost an exact duplicate of Friday's weather... A mild morning with some fog possible, with mostly cloudy skies throughout most of the day. Clouds will clear out some for the mid to late afternoon hours, but return for the night and overnight hours. With dewpoints near 70 degrees, the afternoon high of 84 degrees will once again feel muggy. The good news is that there is no chance of rain at this point.
