The rain situation actually looks better for Sunday afternoon as the main risks for showers and storms will come well after the racing is over, but we will have a small risk of a passing shower or storm starting around the noon hour throughout the afternoon. Skies will start off partly cloudy but will become mostly cloudy by noon and the afternoon high will top out in the lower 70s. Winds will be out of the south and southeast at 2-8 MPH. Chance of rain at this point will be around 30% during the afternoon hours. Since lightning is possible, please stay weather aware. The good news is that any storms that move through will not be strong as the ones we saw at the track on Friday.
