By Doug Schneider Just a few minor changes to the Roar forecast this morning. An abnormally cold air mass will be over northern Florida for Thursday and Friday, with temperatures on the chilly side to start the Roar. I increased cloud cover on Friday and Friday night as it appears that the onshore flow of moisture may come a little earlier. I can't 100% rule out a shower in the area on Friday, but I'm pretty confident that the speedway will remain dry, so I did not add a mention of showers. I think the showers will stay offshore and south of Daytona. I kept rain chances the same Saturday through Sunday. What makes the chance of rain uncertain is exactly where the rain showers will develop - will they remain offshore, or will they move inland? Sunday definitely has the best chance of seeing a shower, but I expect the coverage will be scattered, and if there is any rain, it will be light. There should not be a significant impact on the practice sessions.
