Friday begins with a relatively deep westerly Low pressure system moving through the region bringing high winds and scattered rain. Another round of showers is expected to pass Saturday afternoon into the evening with gusty winds as well. High pressure moves in to the area by Sunday presenting a mostly clear race day with mild temperatures.
Friday and Saturday will likely be tough days on the track navigating through the intermittent rain and gusty winds. This could leave Sunday's winning strategy up to overall familiarity of the track rather than the ability to collect comparable track data in practice sessions and qualifying.
