If you like lots of sunshine and hot temperatures, this weekend at Iowa Speedway is just for you. Saturday during the day, skies will be sunny and temperatures will be hot. Highs will reach 90 with the heat index reaching the 100-105 mark. Winds will be from the south at 5-10 MPH. No chance of rain. Saturday evening during Indycar qualifying (at 6PM), skies will be partly cloudy and temperatures will still be hot in the upper 90s. Heat index will still be near 100. Winds will be from the south-southwest at 5-10 MPH. No chance of rain.
During the daytime on Sunday, it will be a near carbon copy of Saturday. Mostly clear skies and hot again, with highs reaching 90. Heat index will reach near 100. Winds will be out of the south at 5-10 MPH. No chance of rain. Sunday evening near race time (7PM), temperatures will still be pretty warm in the middle 80s. Heat index will still be in the upper 90s at this time. Winds will be from the south at 5-10 MPH. No chance of rain.
