The main issue for the IndyCar weekend at Iowa Speedway will be the hot temperatures. HIghs on Friday and Saturday will be in the mid 90s, with the humidity causing heat index values to rise to around 100. There will also be a small chance of a shower or thunderstorm affecting the on-track action on Friday and Saturday. The exact timing of storms is still very uncertain this early in the week, so check back here for updates. Hopefully the timing will work out to avoid any impacts. Sunday appears to be the best day, as a front is expected to move through the area and bring slightly cooler temperatures and lower humidity.
