Yesterday afternoon there were scattered showers and thunderstorms that developed about 10-15 miles west and northwest of Homestead-Miami Speedway. A southeast wind from the sea breeze pushed these storms further north and west through the afternoon. I expect a similar scenario today. In fact, the sea breeze may be a little stronger today, which should keep the showers and thunderstorms even further to the north and west than yesterday. So all Trans Am activities will likely be dry today. Temperatures will be pretty similar to what has occurred the past few days, with high temperatures in the mid 80s.
